Paul Vartabedian, DDS

Dr. Paul Vartabedian is a compassionate, dedicated dentist who has served the Lake County area since 1994. He specializes in prosthodontics and commits his extensive experience and skills to provide patients with strong, healthy, and beautiful smiles. Dr. Vartabedian’s education includes:

• Chemical engineering at the University of Michigan, 1986
• DDS at the University of Michigan, 1990
• AEGD at the University of California San Francisco, 1992
• Prosthodontic residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 1994

To ensure that our patients at Paul Vartabedian, DDS receive the best possible care, Dr. Vartabedian continues his education through bi-monthly courses that focus on the latest advancements in modern dentistry. He is also a member of the following organizations:

• American Dental Association
• California Dental Association
• Redwood Empire Dental Association
• American College of Prosthodontics

In addition to being a skilled and caring dentist, Dr. Vartabedian is a husband and a father to three children. When not caring for his patient’s oral health, he can be found a building and flying radio-controlled planes, restoring automobiles, cycling, and skiing.

Kristi – Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator

Kristi has been part of our team since 2007. She now works remotely and facilitates your visit at Paul Vartabedian, DDS, and as the “smile of our office,” she ensures that your appointment is personal and pleasant from the beginning. Kristi primarily handles insurance claims, knowing the “ins and outs” of various dental insurance plans. She also enjoys riding horses, camping, and spending time with her family, who are her life.

Tristin – Office Manager/RDAEF2

Tristin joined Paul Vartabedian, DDS in 2000, right out of high school and completed the RDAEF program at the University of California San Francisco in 2004. In 2013, she received the license for RDAEF2, the highest level an assistant can go, allowing her to place composite restorations and cement permanent restorations, in addition to her existing duties. Knowing this office inside and out, Tristin is considered to be the doctor’s “right-hand man.” As patient advocate, she explains complex treatment plans in a way patients can understand. Tristin is also highly supportive of her husband’s construction company, and enjoys entertaining friends, studying the Bible, and spending time with her two boys.

Tabby – Registered Dental Hygienist

Tabby joined us over nine years ago. She attended the SRJC dental hygiene program and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She continues her education by taking classes to learn the latest dental techniques. Everything she learns, she shares with her co-workers and patients. Tabby is thrilled to be part of a knowledgeable and proficient team, working in a practice that enables her to form personal friendships with our patients. She is married and has a daughter, and her hobbies include running 5Ks and half-marathons. She is also a big foodie who loves to cook.
